Darren founded Maxtempo in 2026 to build useful AI products around real customer problems, not technology for its own sake.
After nearly 20 years in commercial leadership, business transformation and board-level roles, he became convinced that most career tools still treat people as a CV and a job board search. Job boards help you find vacancies. CV tools rewrite documents. Generic AI produces generic advice. Very little actually understands the individual — their experience, what they are capable of, and where they should go next.
That problem is what Career Elevator is built to solve. It is designed to learn the detail behind a career, help people see which opportunities genuinely fit, and support the full application journey rather than treating every job application as an isolated task.
As Founder & Director, Darren leads company strategy, product direction, the commercial model, customer experience and go-to-market.

Darren is the sole director of Maxtempo Ltd and the founder of Career Elevator.
Key staff
Maxtempo is an early-stage company. Darren Bedford is the founding team and leads product, commercial and go-to-market execution. Specialist AI and engineering work is delivered through a small internal team of AI assistants operating under Darren’s direction.
Maxtempo Ltd builds practical AI-powered products. Career Elevator is our first product, helping professionals understand their experience more clearly, evaluate opportunities with better market context, and create stronger job applications.
