Maxtempo Ltd ("Maxtempo", "we", "us") builds practical AI-powered products, including Career Elevator. For personal information we decide how and why to use, Maxtempo Ltd acts as the data controller.

2. Information we may collect
Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:
- contact and account information, such as your name, email address and account identifiers;
- career information you choose to provide, including CV or résumé content, employment history, education, skills, role preferences and professional goals;
- job-search and application information, including job descriptions, application materials, interview or application status and feedback you submit;
- communications with Maxtempo, beta applications, survey responses and support requests;
- technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser/device information, security logs and service interaction data;
- billing and subscription status where relevant. Payment card details may be handled directly by our payment provider rather than stored by Maxtempo;
- marketing and campaign information, including source, campaign and engagement data where you interact with Maxtempo advertising or social channels.

- to provide and improve Career Elevator and other Maxtempo products;
- to personalise career guidance, evaluate opportunities and generate user-requested application support;
- to manage accounts, beta access, subscriptions, customer service and communications;
- to operate, secure, debug and measure our systems;
- to operate and measure Maxtempo marketing and authorised social-media activity;
- to comply with legal, regulatory, contractual and platform obligations;
- to establish, exercise or defend legal claims and prevent fraud or misuse.

Career Elevator uses artificial intelligence to help analyse information supplied by users and generate personalised outputs. Information may be processed by carefully selected technology and AI service providers acting for Maxtempo. We aim to minimise the information shared and apply access, security and contractual controls appropriate to the service.
6. Legal bases
Where UK or European data-protection law applies, our legal bases may include performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and improving Maxtempo, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where consent is required.
7. Sharing information
We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, operate, communicate, process payments, analyse performance or provide AI functionality. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or safety, as part of a corporate transaction, or where you direct or authorise us to do so.
We do not sell personal information.
8. International transfers
Some suppliers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use recognised safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy arrangements or approved contractual protections.
9. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, including to provide the service, meet legal/accounting obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and relationship.
10. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of certain information, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or another competent supervisory authority.

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

We may use strictly necessary technologies for security and operation, and may use analytics or marketing technologies where permitted and appropriately disclosed. Where consent is legally required, we will seek it before using non-essential technologies.
