3. Meta and social-platform data

Meta-integrated services

If you interact with Maxtempo through Facebook, Instagram or other Meta products, or if Maxtempo uses a Meta-connected business tool, we may receive information made available under the permissions granted to the relevant Meta account, Page, ad account or business asset. This can include platform identifiers, Page or account metadata, campaign/ad metadata, delivery and engagement metrics, and information needed to operate or monitor authorised Maxtempo marketing activity.

We use this information only for legitimate Maxtempo business purposes such as publishing authorised content, operating advertising, measuring performance, responding to enquiries, maintaining security and complying with platform requirements. We do not sell Meta user data.

4. How we use information

  • to personalise career guidance, evaluate opportunities and generate user-requested application support;
  • to manage accounts, beta access, subscriptions, customer service and communications;
  • to operate, secure, debug and measure our systems;
  • to operate and measure Maxtempo marketing and authorised social-media activity;
  • to comply with legal, regulatory, contractual and platform obligations;
  • to establish, exercise or defend legal claims and prevent fraud or misuse.

5. AI processing

Career Elevator uses artificial intelligence to help analyse information supplied by users and generate personalised outputs. Information may be processed by carefully selected technology and AI service providers acting for Maxtempo. We aim to minimise the information shared and apply access, security and contractual controls appropriate to the service.

AI-generated information is intended to support human decision-making. Users should review important outputs before relying on them or sending them to third parties.

6. Legal bases

Where UK or European data-protection law applies, our legal bases may include performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and improving Maxtempo, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where consent is required.

7. Sharing information

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, operate, communicate, process payments, analyse performance or provide AI functionality. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or safety, as part of a corporate transaction, or where you direct or authorise us to do so.

We do not sell personal information.

8. International transfers

Some suppliers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use recognised safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy arrangements or approved contractual protections.

9. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, including to provide the service, meet legal/accounting obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and relationship.

10. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of certain information, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or another competent supervisory authority.

To exercise a privacy right, email daz.bedford@maxtempo.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

11. Data deletion

Instructions for deleting Maxtempo and Meta-connected data are available at https://maxtempo.com/data-deletion.

12. Security

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

13. Cookies and similar technology

We may use strictly necessary technologies for security and operation, and may use analytics or marketing technologies where permitted and appropriately disclosed. Where consent is legally required, we will seek it before using non-essential technologies.
